My birth story🥳
Water broke at 7:30 am on January 2 2020. Stayed home for about 5 hours with no contractions (with my first born) . Grandma came home & decided to go to hospital. After 5 hours of being in waiting room we go to the labor room, it’s 9:00pm by now. they check me in 0 cm dilated , they started to induce my labor by putting me on vertex. They gave several shots of vertex throughout the night i didn’t feel nothing for about 9 hours , about 6am they gave another shot . And that’s when active labor kicked in. (So nice I got to sleep a little throughout the night) so after they checked me around 10am I was 7cm! Contractions where unbearable at this point. 30 minutes later I was 9cm. BREATHING HELPED A TONN! 👏🏻 They kept insisting that I get an epidural.. My boyfriend was the biggest coach throughout this whole process so much props to him because If weren’t for him I would of probably gave in to get a epi! he passed me though every contraction. I’m so happy I chose this way. I felt this big urge to push because they checked me and the baby was head out almost. So I gave 2 huge pushes and she was out! I held her on my chest & glanced in her eyes for 5 mins, then put her right on my boob, Sofia is such a natural at breastfeeding 🙏🏼 Went much faster then my first baby! Thank goodness 😅
Precious baby Sofia Aria👶🏻 is 19 inches long
6 pounds and 14 ounces🤱🏼
Born at 10:50am she’s so perfect 😇
Stayed in the hospital for 2 days because I missed my toddler so damn much. & felt bad I left her 👧🏼 , so home it was! Everything flew by! The pregnancy & labor. God blessed me that’s for sure!
