I have been working on a registry forever now. I have done research and gone to stores to look at product and looked at “small businesses” so with all that in mind I decided to make my registry on baby list so I can add things from literally anywhere. Well my mother tells me I pick name brand and to only use target and buy buy baby, which I really don’t have “name brand” I use target, buy buy baby and small businesses. So my MIL has finally started to come around so we sent her the link to look over the registry and she says everything on there is too expensive and I’m literally losing my shit. I have crib dresser changing table swing pack and play bassinet bath time stuff a few clothing items diapering stuff and some bottles that I have done research on and have chosen different brands by ratings and what I think would work best. She says to take all the “expensive” stuff off the registry and I’m like oh ok so you would rather me the one with no money take it off and go without instead of leaving it on and hoping someone will purchase it or it will be discounted or I sill get a deal after my baby shower. I’m just so frustrated babies are expensive and it’s been almost 18 years since she has had a baby. Things are pricey and safety is #1 I will chose safety over cost any day for my baby. I just really want to know that I’m not crazy for being so upset over this.
