Friday we went to my week 37 appointment. My baby has been measuring about 2 weeks ahead for the past 2 months. My OB informed me that in the past week we went from closed to 75% effaced, 3.5cm dilated and my water was bulging.

Fast forward to 4:30am Saturday my water breaks, or so I think. We get to the hospital and find out it only partially ruptured. They admitted us an decided to put me on Pictocin to move it along and not risk infection. Needless to say about 20 minutes into Pictocin I am begging for my epidural. It took two tries before we could get that right.

Midnight rolls around and we are doing an emergency C-section because his head just won't fit.
