Am I too serious

So ....

I’ve been waiting to put this somewhere I won’t be judged by people.So here I go about almost a year ago in high school as a freshman I was called a monkey by a student who I thought was cordial with me sum might call me a snitch for telling the school but I feel as a Ghanaian-American my grandparents didn’t struggle to bring my mom and my uncle over to America for me to be disrespected.This boy gotten a 3 day in school suspension and at the end he was told to apologize and what I got was far from an apology I got “What I do wrong” I couldn’t believe my ears so I walked out calling a black female a monkey and u dint understand the ignorance in that statement fast forward to about 2 weeks .Somebody put something in my hair and it ripped out not once but TWICE. I keep on getting ridiculed for things people have done to me . I’m just wondering is am I taking this too personal or should I really making sure tht this gets dealt with
