My partner always asks me who I’m talking too if I’m online on WhatsApp and I’m not talking to them 
Is that normal ... when I said I’m not telling you as that’s weird why you want to know all the time I don’t ever ask you .. and they get shitty with you :/

My husband asks. I ask him. Neither of us gets snooty to answer, its usually followed up with "Tell then I said hi!" or something like that.

I don’t see the harm in asking who you’re talking to , but if they’re getting upset about you talking to other people then I can see there being a problem . I wouldn’t not tell my husband if he asked me who I’m talking to, but he’s never been upset about me talking or texting other people. Why would you not want them to know who you’re talking to if they’re just asking?

Why should it matter? It’s weirder that you don’t answer. My husband and I ask each other. Neither one of us is texting 24/7(as when we were dating and talking most of the time haha) so if we see the other in long convo we’ll ask. Then they tell us and we both move on. The only reason to not tell is if you’re hiding something or you’re talking to someone you KNOW your partner wouldn’t like. It’s never a serious thing its usually just a simple question and we move on.

If this is bothering you, I gotta ask, are you talking to someone you don’t want him to know about?  It’s a simple question so I don’t get why you won’t just tell him, especially if he’s your mate.

Watching when you’re online to ask who you’re talking to is weird (and high school) to me. If he’s genuinely curious from time to time, whatever but I’d be a little worried about that if it’s constant

Is definitely sounds like he has insecurities. This isnt normal. My ex used to do exactly this. Drove me crazy. Turns out, he had been talking and trying with women our entire relationship.

My bf asks me on occasion and ask him sometimes but its usually if we are on the phone with someone. It's not weird to me its normal and I dont get upset if he asks or he doesn't get upset if I ask him. Now if he get mad or said none of your business I'd be pissed off and thinking why they got upset.
