What age for regular detergent?

At what age did you stop using Free & Clear detergents and no dryer sheet for your child?

i never used special detergent we use tide pods. If she had a reaction i’d definitely switch for her though

We all use free & clear, have for years before kids.
I don't dry his clothes in the dryer, so I didn't really worry about the dryer sheet thing. I think we would've known right away if the dryer sheets used on family things (like towels) were causing irritation, & I would've stopped.

I use natural laundry soap anyway since my skin is sensitive, so I have always used our soap for the babies.

I use all free and clear on all our clothes. Still dont use fabric softener on hers but I started using dryer sheets at the end of 3 months. Her spit up and drool just smells so bad I like having her clothes smell good to distract from it lol I still have to change her bib like 3 times a day. Ugh teething.

I use arm n hammer free n clear. I don’t use dryer sheets or fabric softener - just wool balls. I don’t like all the unnecessary chemicals and fake fragrances.

I never used special detergent for any of my kids. If they showed signs of irritation I would’ve switched but never had that issue. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t ever use fabric softener or dryer sheets on any of our laundry and have to use free and clear on everything because dog husband’s sensitive skin. However if it’s different than your regular laundry routine you could always try your normal routine and just see if it causes any sensitivity.
