Wow, I'm really sorry to hear this. You need to talk with him when he's not intoxicated and see where his head is at. I get it, my husband works a stressful job and is tired etc, but he never avoids us and communicates if he needs space or a timeout. Sounds like a very lonely, uncomfortable situation.
Married and lonely
Not sure if anyone is going to read, but I need to rant or I’ll go crazy.
I am married and feel so lonely that I cry every night. My husband works til very late in the evening and then goes to have a beer or two, see some friends or just drives around the town... anything but not coming come.
He skips all family gatherings (even his sister’s birthday), he hates going out somewhere as a family. And his excuse is that he is tired or he has lots of work, while I am sure that he can make some time for me and the kids if he wants.
I planned to do a dinner tonight, cooked lots of things, asked him to be home a bit early to have dinner together. But what he did? He said he won’t be home before 10pm and ended up coming at 1am, drunk and very happy.
Not to mention that we don’t have sex AT ALL, as he finds breastfeeding extremely un-sexy...
Not sure where to turn and what to do. So lost...
