Do I have to put my 1 week old in the dark every time she sleeps? I see a bunch of comments about napping in darkness so I got concerned.

Its summer here and we have a covered porch we literally spend all day on, hardly ever in the house. If my baby falls asleep out there is it ok to keep her out there with me? Obviously she's in her bassinet and safe, and not over heated, or in direct sun. I just didnt see any reason to being her in.

It's similar to the way this one is with 3 sides open and covered. I just dont have an actual picture of my porch lol.
