I’m about to trip out

So I just had my baby 5 weeks ago and also have a 16 month old at home . My husband is also home as his work is seasonal and he is trying to find something. Can I just say I can’t wait until he does work because he doesn’t do shit! He makes my life harder. He doesn’t wash a bottle, barely changes a diaper unless it’s necessary and I’m not available. Now I just got back from my newborns appointment as he had RSV. And he tells me he is hungry and I need to make him dinner! I want to kill him.

Sit him down right now and tell him how you dont feel supported and starting to resent him

I wouldn’t be making him dinner. Idk what you’re mad about. Just say “you’ve got two arm and two legs. Make yourself something to eat and while you’re at it, I’ll take a plate too”. Just because your husband says he wants dinner, doesn’t mean you gotta make it. If he can’t cook then he can go out and puck up food for both of you. What’s the problem?

Tell him he is an adult and can get his own dinner. Sounds like you two need to have a discussion about him not being helpful and expecting you to do everything, even for him.

Ugh mine is home too. I’m due any day and we have a 2 year old he barely helps around the house or with the baby. He makes a mess doesn’t clean up after himself, I’ve asked for help cleaning/ organizing our room and the boys room and he doesn’t- but he does complain about how it’s a mess.
