Mirena mood swings, anyone else?

I have been on Mirena for almost a year now and I’ve not all always been a very happy person. But I’ve noticed I get in these strange, very overly sensitive moods that I just can’t seem to shake. Either that or I get irrationally angry, sometimes over the smallest things. More importantly I’ve noticed it’s gotten worse and lately I feel like my moods go from 0 to 100. 
Has anyone else had this problem while on Mirena? 
I want to switch birth control but the only one, I’ve found at least, that doesn’t have a hormone is Paragaurd which I got pregnant on. Thoughts?

I had terrible mood swings and weight gain on the more a! I talked to my doc about it and she basically called me crazy but I made her take it out and in 2 weeks I was so much better.

Quite the opposite for me. I'm a far more rational, level person with my Mirena. It has really helped my PMDD significantly in a number of ways.

Yesss I've only had the mirena in for about 7-8 months and im so emotional I cry at basically nothing and my anger has gone through the roof like when I get into the smalled argument with my partner i feel like I need to punch a wall! Im seriously thinking of taking it out but im torn because I feel like its finally settling in however my periods are getting heavier and not lighter like i was advised it would..
