Twins maybe ??

During my exam my doctor said my uterus felt bigger than it should and he wants an ultrasound ordered to make sure it’s just one baby but my insurance won’t cover it until I’m 18 weeks 😩 I’m 8 weeks today and I’ve been so impatient I just want to know!

Good! 18 weeks seems like a long time to know if there’s twins.

They can check your hcg levels. If it’s extremely high there is a higher chance it could be twins. Not to be certain but it could give them an indication...

You could also go to a private ultrasound place. It may not be in your budget but if I recall from last time it was less than $100 for a 3D.... you could see if those places do 2D, it may not be very expensive

This happened with my second. I was 9 weeks, measured 12 at my first exam. They had me come back 2 weeks later for a scan and only one in there measuring right on for dates so 🤷🏻‍♀️ didn’t get another scan until 34 weeks when I started contracting and measuring a week behind
