TMI brown spotting 6/7/8DPO!!?

I’m freaking out ... this morning I had brown spotting.. in between 6 and 8 DPO.. how could I be getting my period this early??

There are many reasons to spot mid cycle. No one can really say for sure what is going on or why you’re spotting/ bleeding before a period. 
Reasons can include old blood from ovulation, change in progesterone levels, sex, stress, infection, the list goes on.
