Work rant

I’m so annoyed. Both my husband & I work full time 40-43 hours a week. My mom so generously watches my little one while we’re working.

So recently, my boss asked me to work an extra day and I agreed. Then on Saturday she asked me to work a 12 hour shift, I agreed. So my only days off for the last few weeks have been on Wednesday. I’m exhausted but i agreed because we can use the extra money.

So I have a dentist appointment on Saturday because one of my fillings fell out. My husband called out of work for Saturday so he can watch our LO while I’m at the dentist. I let my boss know that I can work in the morning since my appointment is in the evening, and she said “I’ll see”....... so

I find out that it’s pretty much a no.

I am so upset that I’ve bent backwards... working an extra day AND worked a 12 hour shift on Saturday & she can’t help me out for ONE shift. I know it was decision to work an extra day but I would expect for her to be a little more sympathetic
