So I got the copper iud back in mid December and I’m supposed to start my period tomorrow. All this last week I’ve been spotting but it was still very pink ( not like dark period blood) and I figured it was due to having sex or just a side effect of the iud. I also had really bad cramps one night but not as bad the last few days. Just to be safe though I checked my strings to make sure the iud didnt expel or anything and my strings feel fine. Anyways this morning I went to the restroom and saw what I thought was my period so I put a tampon in however when I went to change it there was some blood but not like heavy period like normal. Prior to getting the copper iud my periods were heavy for the first few days so I figured my period would be very heavy today but since it wasn’t im confused now. Like I don’t know if I started my period or not? Or if this is just really really heavy spotting before my period?? Or maybe I just had too rough of sex last night and it caused me to bleed a lot?? I’m just really confused so hopefully someone experienced this and can help me figure it out cause I’m feeling frustrated now :(
