I smoked anytime I was nauseous & before bed up until I hit 6 months and my son came out very healthy and he is very advanced for a soon to be 3 year old.

I do second that you have to stop before they are born otherwise if the baby tests positive it’s a big deal. My best friend did occasionally throughout her pregnancy and that baby is ridiculously healthy and right on track for all his milestones.

I smoked while I was pregnant but I kept it to a minimum. Only a couple hits from my bong every couple days. Just be careful though in some states they test the baby meconium. My daughter was clean. I stopped smoking at around 28 weeks.
