Got court papers today

My ex has been evading child support for over 2 years now. They finally found him and gave him 3 months to make a payment, he refused and well here we are. If anyone has been through this can you give some advise? He hasn't filed taxes in 3 years because of Child Support even though he works a ton of jobs he just quits them before they can take any money. What happens if he doesn't provide all of these documents? What will happen at the court date? Will he go to jail? The internet doesn't really help at all.

Also edit to add: he's behind $4,000 and counting.
