Milk????

Question

Tjs turning 13 months tomorrow and hasn’t been wanting anything to do with his formula. He’ll eat a few ounces then be done with it, I’ve also been putting whole milk in it to ween him on it. When I give him straight whole milk he doesn’t like it. I don’t know what to do. He’d rather eat big people food. Is it okay that he’s not drinking milk since he’s eating meals?

Have you tried just giving him cow milk in a regular cup like a plastic toddler size cup? My daughter will not drink juice or cow milk in her baby bottle or a sippy cup but will gladly drink it from a toddler cup. We had trouble after breastfeeding to find a bottle for her to use for formula when my milk dried up then we found one and if there’s any other different size or shaped nipple in her mouth she’ll gag. So we give her formula in her bottle after breakfast and dinner and milk or water in a cup with meals

Mix it with his formula. I have to mix breast milk with cows milk and slowly decrease the breastmilk. My son will drink cows milk by itself now.

My son refuses milk at times I just make sure he's getting his calcium threw yogurts and cheese

Try the formula substitute. Its like a toddler formula at your local grocery store. Also introduce some apple juice and just make sure your kid eats protein and other fruits and veggies.

As long as your baby is eating solids , drinking water and eating either yogurt or cheese he doesn’t need formula or milk.
My daughter won’t take other milk unless it’s if I nurse her, it’s a mission to try to get her off I’m having a horrible time!

I just had a wic appt and they said my 1 year old can eat anything I eat just smaller portions so give him anything really they say try and keep the formula till a year old my daughter threw it down at 9 months hasnt touched it since
