Hi everyone. I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about 2 years and sex for a 1 1/2 years.

I got the Mirena almost a year ago due to very heavy periods and severe cramps.

I’ve noticed that every time my boyfriend and I have sex, shortly afterwards I’ll bleed a few days and this has started since I got the Mirena.

Does anyone else have this issue?

My doc said that it should stop in a couple of months and it’s just old blood but it’s been almost a year. I am planning to see my doc again in the next week or so but just want some assistance.
