Can you go to the gyno with a very heavy period?

I have an appointment but the day after I made it I got my period and it’s very heavy. I’m wondering if I need to reschedule.

I had a period when I was scheduled for a pap. I called and asked them what they prefer. They had told me at the time it was simply my preference and it didnt matter either way.

They don't care if you're on your period. Unless you're getting a test done, I don't see why it would affect your appointment. If you are getting a pap, maybe call and ask.

You dont need to unless you want to. I remember I started mine like when I got to the gyno and it was heavy and they just went ahead with everything anyways and offered me a pad and tampon after. Its really up to you
