Cheating in relationship

My boyfriend of 6 months cheated on me.

About a month ago I was dealing with health issues and he was dealing with family things, we thought it would be best to take a break for a couple of days.

While on a break, he started talking to another girl, which wouldn’t have bothered me if he had broken it off when we started to get back to normal.

But he didn’t.

It went on for about another two weeks. He talked about leaving me for her. I even spoke to the girl, kindly, and she told me everything. He ended it because he said he still loves me. I found out from friends. I confronted him and he confessed. It broke my heart.

We’ve been talking and talking and he’s very genuine about his apology.

I want to stay with him, I love him so much.

Am I silly? I could really use some advice.
