29weeks & have really bad external hemorrhoids. Any advice?

This is the most humiliating thing for me ever hence why this post is anonymous. I have really bad external hemorrhoids and I am so embarrassed and am wondering if there is some miracle cure to get rid of them at home or if it’s inevitable to have the surgery done? I’ve had a few before getting pregnant that just never went away  and now they are really bad while pregnant. They don’t actually hurt me but I literally don’t look like I have a normal anus anymore and I’m so embarrassed I don’t even know how to talk to my obgyn. I’m horrified at the thought of everyone seeing them when it comes time for me to give birth.😭 any advice /help would be appreciated. Hoping I can avoid surgery if possible.

I had them so bad when I was postpartum with my first. I used this cream and it helped within a day or two. I swear by it because none of the usual stuff (witch hazel, sits bath, drug store cream) worked for me.

Talk to your OB and don’t be embarrassed, hemorrhoids are common, especially during pregnancy.  Medical professionals see this daily and are much more focused on you and delivering a healthy baby with no complications.

I used the steroid creams on mine. Works within 24h everytime. Unfortunately due to getting one 3ach pregnancy im stuck with small tags. They apparently can be removed but im waiting until im done having babies (march)

I've had mine since I was 17 and I'm 22 now. There is nothing that makes mine go away. I also gave birth with them and nobody acted any different. Dont worry about it.

I never had them until I gave birth to my son and I get them semi regularly now 🙄 it’s super annoying and I usually let mine just be until they heal or whatever. But if yours are bad have you tried any remedies? I think there’s like sitz baths and stuff you can use.

I would tell your OB, they've seen it all. This is perfectly normal and nothing to be worried  about. Birth is not a pretty process process regardless (pee, poop, blood), but the nurses and doctors have seen it a million times, and probably wont even think twice about it. Talking to your doctor now, will just let you know what options you have. :)
