When was your first ultrasound?

My doctor said that they will only do one ultrasound at 18-20 weeks. That makes me nervous especially since I’ve had a previous miscarriage and chemical.
Also, how many ultrasounds did you have total?

I had one to confirm there was baby at 8 weeks 2 days & than another at 12 weeks for the genetic testing and fluid behind the neck. Than my last one was 20 weeks 2 days for the anatomy scan and found out the gender. I’m not sure if I will get another one. Maybe one more I feel like just one at 20 isn’t enough

If you know when you conceived they won't do a dating scan at 8-12 weeks.  I had my first at 20 wks.  It's normal.   I ended up having 3.  But the last two were the dr checking to see if his head was down.

My first was at 9 weeks for a “dating scan” to see how far along I was. Then not another until 20 weeks for anatomy scan. The. One growth scan at 29 weeks. So 3 total from my midwives. 
If you are nervous. I would recommended going to a private ultrasound studio. Or buying a Doppler to hear babies heartbeat. We went at 15 weeks to find out gender early. And then at 32 weeks to see baby’s face 3D

I had the dating one at 7 weeks, one at 12 weeks, and the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. I ended up having another at 23 weeks to get the pictures they couldn’t get during the anatomy scan.

Well, my doctor offers to do a scan every time, if I want to. She just does them in her own office, at the appointment. But might be a country or clinic thing...

My first pregnancy I had one at 12 weeks and one every 8 weeks after that due to some complications. With my current pregnancy I've had one at 7 weeks and 20 weeks.

Where I am it’s common for people to get 2. 1 at 12 weeks 1 at 20. Unless you don’t know when you conceived then you also get one Between 6-10ish weeks to date the pregnancy. 
My pregnancies have been higher risk, my first pregnancy I had 5 ultrasounds and my second I had 8

NHS - 12 weeks and then 20 weeks as no issues.
I paid for a private scan at 7 weeks, 16 weeks to find out gender then another one near 30 weeks for 4D and wellness check. I'm from the UK.
