Weird throat pain
I had bronchitis for two weeks followed immediately by laryngitis which has lasted just over two weeks so far. My throat hasn’t stopped hurting but now the pain is different.
The back of my throat is hurting like normal but I’m also getting a pain sort of under my tongue, at the front of my throat. I’ve never noticed this sort of pain before, feels almost like a pulled muscle I guess but also like there’s a lump stuck in my throat in the same place.
Anyone had this before? Hoping it’s just from the constant coughing but that’s subsided now (still feeling like I need to clear my throat a lot and my voice has returned but is still kinda hoarse) so I’m not sure if I should be concerned or not. I always remember hearing that if a cough/sore throat persists past a month to get it checked out for bigger issues but these chest infections and laryngitis have been going around a lot lately, so I just don’t know. I hate going to the doctor and avoid it at all costs if possible so I don’t want to go if it’s just the last bit of the laryngitis that I’m feeling.
Thanks!
