Fussy baby or something else

My son will be 8 weeks old on Friday. For the last couple of days he’s been super fussy when nursing and will tug at my nipple, kick, squirm, and cry. I burp him and do bicycle kicks for gas which works but doesn’t calm him down. Some feedings are better than others and he don’t have this issue as much at night. He’s also been running hot and clammy during this time too. I don’t know if he’s just getting overtired, if this is just a leap, or if he is getting sick. I’ve taken his temp and it was different every time and not over 100. Anyone else gone through this too?
