I got my Daith pierced on December 20 and I found out I'm pregnant on January 6. I'm 5 weeks. I have been really absent minded recently and unconsciously messed with my piercing. Yesterday it was starting to hurt, so I put a small drop of peroxide on it to nip any infection the bud (yes, I know, that was stupid). This morning I woke up to it red, swollen, tender, and a little pussy. I mixed a saline solution and gently poured it over my piercing and will continue to do so throughout the day. If this doesn't work, does anyone have any advice on what I should do? And at what point should I go to the doctor? I'm planning on making an appointment tomorrow if it doesn't feel any better by then. I'm just worried because I know that the infection poses a risk to the baby. I'm looking for advice, not criticism. I know what I did was dumb.
