Preterm labor

Today has been exhausting. I’m 31 weeks today and yesterday I was having period like cramps and then started having contractions. I thought, no biggie... it’s probably just BH contractions. Well this morning I was having them as well and I was starting to get concerned so I called my doctors office and they told me to go to labor and delivery, so I did. They had me hooked up to monitors and confirmed that I was indeed having contractions. So they hooked me up to an IV hoping it would stop the contractions, and it didn’t. They also got my fetal Fibronectin results back and it was positive for preterm labor. So they gave me a shot to stop the contractions and then gave me a steroid shot for my son’s lungs. They ended up sending me home because the contractions finally stopped. I go in tomorrow for another steroid shot. Has anyone else has this happen?? Testing positive for preterm labor?? I’m so scared I’ll be giving birth in the next week or so and baby boy is not ready to come out yet.... I’m a little worried.
