Are you getting the flu shot with other 6 month shots?

Please comment why or why not! I got my daughter the flu shot today at her 6month appt and we go back in a month for the booster. I said I wasn’t going to get the flu shot for her as my so and I never get it, but her doc ended up talking me into it and now a couple hrs later I’ve been online and of course put myself into a panic from the anti flu vaxxers, I’m kinda mad at myself for being persuaded. Idk my mind is so scrambled!

I have an autistic son and shots did not cause his autism. It's a genetic malformation not something that was brought on my vaccines. 
The flu shot is usually only good for 3 to 4 strands of protein tion and there are usually 10+ strands they can get. 
I have children that are autoimmune compromised and I make sure to get flu shots every year. It may help, it may not due to.the different strands of flu. But I know I did the best to protect them.
I have been that mom with a child admitted into children's hospital and not knowing what would happen. It's a horrible experience all around especially when you have other kids that need you at home as well. 
Do your research. Talk to your doctor about concerns. And then make a decision based on what you want. Chances are the doctor told you something in that conversation and it resonated with you for a reason. You chose in that moment based on what you already knew and that conversation for a reason.
Don't allow self doubt to cause you to regret that decision you made. ❤

100%. What "valid" reason did they give you to not get it? I'd much rather my child get the shot and lessen the chance of her ending up in the hospital or worse. Just remember when considering their validity that anti vaxxers would prefer the risk of a dead child over one with autism.

We do because school requires it and my husbands been hit by it twice in 3 years. 
Honestly you’re going to get hit with information from both sides. You need to make the decision that is best for you. Don’t be persuaded from antivaxxers. Do your own research and stay off popular website. As my family always says, Scholarly Research! Then make the call.

I’m from the U.K. so we don’t have any injections at 6 months and the flu jab isn’t offered to babies at all 🤷🏻‍♀️
If your Dr recommends it though, I’d be following his advice since he’s the medical professional.

Flu is the #1 killer and it’s highest in babies. I don’t say it to scare it’s a fact and a risk I’m not willing to take. My husband and I both got ours months ago and baby is getting his tomorrow:)
