When did you go into labor after loss of mucus plug?

I just lost mine , I’ve been cramping all day long. I’m 38 weeks 2 days & 2.5cm dilated & 50% effaced. 
I’m curious when you guys went into labor , did you do anything else to help labor go faster ? 
My ob said I can do whatever I want to start labor (:

Hard to tell. I loose chunks nearly all my pregnancy. Then towards the end it comes out hourly and one day it contains blood then i know im in labor

When I lost my mucus plug with my son I didn't go into labor until a few days after. Lost my plug with my daughter at the hospital when I was already in labor.

I was already having contractions 10 min apart when I lost it in the evening (like 4pm?).  I ended up having her the next day at 12:16pm.
