How many kicks?

I know I don’t count kicks yet, but what’s a good general rule of thumb at 21 weeks? I usually feel him like crazy the last month or so, but not the last couple days.

There’s no rule at 21 weeks because kick counts don’t start till 28.

Kick counts aren’t generally done till after 28 weeks. And even then they aren’t meant to do every day. If you notice a change in your baby’s normal movement pattern then you do a count. Which you would pick the time of day that baby is most active, drink some cold water or juice and lay on your left side and count till you get 10 movements in 1-2 hrs.

No rules for 21 weeks because some women don’t even feel movement by then and baby is so small that her position could greatly affect what you feel and they still have lots of room to change position at that stage. 
If you do feel pretty consistent movement, I’d take note to make sure I feel something everyday. That’s what I do in that stage.
