Cystic Fibrosis?!?

I just got a call from my doctor to say that it turns out that I'm a carrier for cystic fibrosis... I had no idea. My husband is going in tomorrow for blood work to see if he is a carrier.I just keep reading articles about it, very upsetting :(  Please pray for my baby and that my husband is not a carrier too... I would really appreciate it...

I found out I too am I carrier. I spoke with a geneticist and they told me not to worry apparently there are tons of strands and the likely hood of 2 people having the same is unlikely. The doctor told me not to worry about getting daddy tested unless I felt necessary.

I'm in the exact same boat. He did his blood work on Friday so we have to wait two weeks and it feels like the longest two weeks of my life :(

Same thing here. My husband got his blood work done friday and they said 10 days. :( I cried and cried after getting the phone call. Hopefully we all get calls with good news.

I am also a carrier, but my man won't get checked....  He doesn't want me to worry.
