You can- but in my experience it doesn’t work for anything. Your baby is in the 4th trimester and crying a lot is normal. If you can try baby wearing - that calmed my kids a lot. My 2nd baby was “colicky” and it was really difficult at the time. She liked bath time and she liked being worn in the carrier and bounced. I couldn’t soothe her on the boob which was confusing to me. Even when she grew out of it at around 4-5 months she’s always been “extra sensitive”. At 3.5 she will crumble and cry at the drop of a hat. She’s my second and this personality trait is completely opposite of my first child who has been more resilient and laid back since she was a baby.

Yes, gripe water is fine. Just read the proper measurements on the bottle or box. You can give it to him at pretty much anytime day or night.. The daytime one I believe can be given to him 6 times a day (check on the box to make sure), as for the nighttime it’s 3 times. I also recommend putting it in a bottle nipple to give it to him, because it’s pretty hard to give it to babies straight of the syringe.. did not go well with my baby girl when I did that, but she’ll drink it from a nipple.
