Constipated with blood?

My LO is about to be 6 months and he hadn’t pooped in 5 days, and I could tell he was very uncomfortable and cried all the time. Well finally he pooped but it was in hard balls, after pushing out 5 small very hard balls, he cried, I cried, it was very upsetting for both of us. Well, the last one ball had blood on it and then once his hole relaxed it started dripping a little bit of blood. He doesn’t seem hurt or uncomfortable anymore. But I’m still a bit worried.

And I’m not sure why it was hard. We had just started trying baby food yesterday so that can’t be it, the only thing I can think of is his rice bottles I give him at night.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Any help would be great, I’m having real bad mommy guilt.
