Weaning of breastfeeding

I am having some crazy emotions about it. I wanted to go until 12 months but my supply was getting so low he was only nursing 1 to 2 times a day so we decided it was time to stop breastfeeding. I cant stop crying and feeling like I failed my baby especially when he wants to nurse I feel like I let him down and he wont be getting anymore liquid gold from me. It makes me sad when he wants to nurse and he just cries bc I give him a bottle. Needing encouragement please.
