Supporting each other as mothers

Megan
I joined this board and felt love, support and confidence from other women going through a common experience. In the last week or so all I have seen is crude judgement, harsh criticisms and rude comments. I am so disheartened and thinking of avoiding this board all together. We all come from different backgrounds, belief systems and societal norms. So many are quick to judge those that think differently or are experiencing their pregnancy differently. Or raising their babies differently. I am assuming most of us are here for a common reason- for a community of women that can give us positive feedback and advice, can respectively respond and express different viewpoints. Honestly, if you have taken steps to download this app, follow your child's development, ask questions and seek advice-your doing a damn good job and do not deserve negative and damning judgement. I hope to be able to continue to use this board and receive constructive feedback and support from a group of women. It's pretty amazing that we have a place to come to and get immediate feedback and advice, exchange ideas and thoughts with women from all over the world. Can we all just be ok with the fact that what is right for some is not for others and maybe learn from eachother instead of quickly responding with hate? Instead of spewing hateful judgement can we respond instead with "you know, that's not how I would handle this but I respect you as a mother". Obviously, some topics get heated but there are ways to express opinions without demeaning others. I really am so thankful for this board and really hope to be able to continue to use it the rest of my pregnancy. I just had to get that off of my chest. Much love ladies!
