Question Family boundaries

So I have a just now 1 month old and every time she cries or anything If I’m trying to get her to latch or anything or any reason she starts to cries my mom or grandma or any family member will say give me that baby or give her here they don’t let me try to soothe her and it makes me feel like I can’t soothe my own child am I wrong for getting mad at them for not letting me learn to use my own mother instincts and for not letting me want to soothe my own child ?
