Sorry if this subject is inappropriate for this app I really don’t know where else to turn. I live in California as of the last year. I’ve been renting a bedroom with my boyfriend. Myself alone, I can afford a 2,000 apartment monthly. However, I have an eviction from 4 years ago. My friend and I rented a house together and she moved out with her new boyfriend. I kept up with bills alone but couldn’t for long. Anyway, so I found out I’m 3 months pregnant. While we’re very excited, we need our own home. We cannot and will not rent a bedroom with a baby. We’re also getting kicked out of the room we’re renting. The owner wants her sister to move in. We pay rent on time and she gave us a month to move out. It’s so crappy that we can afford however much a month, but we can’t get into an apt because my eviction. I’m wondering if there’s any programs than can help me in this situation? I’ll pay whatever I need I just need a home:(
