I posted on facebook that I was looking at prices of dressers for our new baby. I've never brought a dresser before so i didnt really know the kind i wanted was kind expensive. My friend called me today and hoes if you give me the money to get my daughter a new dresser you can have her old one. The one she wants me to buy off her is old (nothing wrong with old) and very unsafe pretty sure it had lead paint. It's from her boyfriends grandma when she lived in the house years ago. I told her no thank you that we are looking for a 6 draw dresser. And she then goes and says I'm being a ungrateful bitch. She wants to throw me a gender reveal/diaper party, but my scan for the gender is a week before her wedding. I told no thabk you save your money for the wedding and your honey moon. Their also trying for thier 2nd baby and shes no longer working. Only money coming in is from her boyfriend. She mad about me telling her no to that and now to the dresser. What am I supposed to do. Buy an unsafe dresser and let her throw me the party then complain about not having any money for her honeymoon. I'm at a loss. Now I'm sitting her depressed and crying wondering if shes just mad because we got pregnant before her, or if because were pregnant with our 3rd, because my husband and I have been a couple for 12 years and shes had a child with someone who never cared about them.
