Over protective husband

So my husband is way too overprotective and insists on driving me to all my appointments because we have to take the highway and he thinks I can’t handle it. I grew up in a tiny farm town so MAJOR highways do scare me a bit but I can handle them just fine, plus the highway I have to take to get to my hospital is the same highway I take to visit most of my extended family so I know it well and it’s not even that big of a highway. I was going to drive myself to my appointment for my 3 hour glucose test tomorrow but since it’s been snowing the past couple days (I’m a December baby, I took my driving test in the snow, I don’t have a problem with it) he insists on driving me even though the roads are clear. It’s really annoying that he doesn’t trust me especially since he speeds and is a pretty aggressive driver and it scares me sometimes. Plus I was honestly looking forward to having 3 hours of peace and quiet to read my book because with a toddler I very rarely get any me time. I love that he cares about me but I’m a big girl who can drive herself.
