IUD during c section?

Have you ever heard of this? I'm planning on the Paraguard IUD after this birth and had an appointment with an OB today to discuss Vbac or planned c section. I'm scheduling a c section during my 41st week just in case I dont go into labor before that. The OB said that if I do end up with a c section that they can place the IUD right then. I personally know 2 women who have had IUDs surgerically removed due to them becoming impacted in their uterine lining. So wouldnt placing during a c section where you have not 1 but 2 massive wounds healing make increase the risk of that happening? Im already nervous enough to get an IUD but the Paraguard is the only long term non hormonal birth control out there and is just as effective as getting your tubes tied which I don't want to do currently. Has anyone ever had a IUD placed during their c section? I think I will be waiting until my 6 week check for insertion but if anyone has any experience with the Paraguard please share!
