Were you induced? If so when?

I’m 39 weeks and doc and I talked about induction today (in case I go over 41 weeks). Were you induced? Was it an elective induction? How far along were you when you got induced? 
Just want to hear from other mamas to put my worries at ease!

Induced at 41+4 for being pregnant “too” long, biggest regret of my life and won’t be doing it again with this one, I’m “due” Feb 16th but will go as long as baby is healthy and I’m healthy no need to end the pregnancy because I gestate longer than the average.

Was induced at 41+4 and baby didn't show any signs of coming on his own. Started with that Foley balloon thing, didn't work because the obgyn broke the balloon.started the cervix softening pills 18hours later, reached 2-3cm and they broke my water. That kick-started things and baby came 8hours later.

I was induced at 39 weeks 1 day and had my baby girl 39 weeks and 2 days. Mines were bc I had GDM. I am glad I was bc baby girl was 8lbs 3oz. She wasn't my biggest but was my hardest pregnancy.
