I used to think...

That getting pregnant was the hard part. The tracking, the planning, the waiting, and the disappointments.

Then I got my second BFP - finally! I was very excited especially because I thought I was out that month since I was spotting. I didn’t have spotting with my first pregnancy so I called my OB and they scheduled bloodwork.

...then I got that dreaded call. “Your levels dropped...they were supposed to double...probably miscarriage” is all I remember from the conversation.

Then 72 hours later it happened, and I realized getting pregnant, for me, wasn’t the hardest part but losing a pregnancy was worse. All my hopes for the pregnancy and the baby disappeared in a matter of days.

Now I am 1 in 4 women who experience a miscarriage...and it SUCKS! I’m sorry for all of you that are experiencing infertility and all of you who are experiencing/experienced a miscarriage/loss.
