Anyone else interested in taking cara babies?

LO is 6 weeks tomorrow and he’s sleeping just okay, but I’m in awe of the parents who say their baby is already sleeping 7pm-7am and only waking up once! Seems like taking Cara babies is the common factor, but I’m hesitant to pay close to $100 for the program. Anyone else interested in the program and want to split the cost and share the info?

There is no one magic fix all solution for newborn sleep. Really kinda disgusts me that these women are taking advantage of desperate sleep deprived mothers who are already not thinking clearly from exhaustion and are more likely to just throw out money with any hope of a few extra hours of sleep. 
What about women supporting other women? That all seems to go out the window if theres an easy buck to be made. Sleep to me is a universal human need like clean water and food. Instead of scamming new moms why not just share the information.
My tip: these women are not professional MD’s they most likely used a lot of doctor harbey karps (snoo inventor) sleep recommendations( Happiest Baby on the block), or check out the wonder weeks book. 
These women arent sleep whisperes they are greedy unaccredited hacks.

I bought and used it and personally it really helped me. Once I stayed consistent it started to work after a week he went from waking every 1.5-2 hours to 3-4 hours now 5-6 hours. I for sure recommend it

I purchased the course thinking i would learn something new, even though this is my third baby. She has good information in there, a lot of it is based off of the EASY schedule, happiest baby on the block, and a few other tid bits here and there. Truthfully, i think you could save money and read the books that her course is based off of. The key is following wake windows and learning sleepy queues, making sure they’re getting good calories during daytime. However with that being said and having 3 children, every single baby is different. Each baby has their own specific needs, based on their make up! Your baby waking up more does not mean you’re doing anything wrong or that you could be doing something different.

We’ve been following the Mom’s on call schedule.  Baby girl is 6 weeks and has consistently been sleeping atleast 5-6 hours since she was 3 weeks old and has had a few nights of sleeping 8+ hours.  You can order the book on Amazon for $20 if you want to give it a try.  It also has a lot of helpful tips for handling different things from colds, clipping nails, fussiness, etc...

I bought the course. I think it would work for any easy, compliant baby, but it didn’t work at all for us. My baby simply won’t sleep or nap in a bassinet and has to be held all they me. I tried for 2 weeks and I was up every 5 to 30
Min consoling her. We are back to cosleeping and even then I’m lucky to get a 3 hour stretch. I’m so exhausted!

I haven’t taken the class, but I’ve followed the Taking Cara Babies schedule and have had zero success in getting this kiddo to sleep for longer stretches at night. At least it’s some schedule for me though, which is nice to have 🤷🏻‍♀️
