We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Good afternoon glow family.

Verse 6 So, in todays world we encounter many people who say they are believers as well as many people who say they aren't believers. And, many times it seems the ones who say they dont or aren't believers are more willing to hear biblical things than the believers of today. And so here in the scriptures it tell us that we know those who belong in our family by their ability to hear truth. Those who turn deaf ears to us are not of God. But those who listen intently to truth even if it goes against what they stand for(current lifestyle), they belong to God.

Verse 7 Let us love one another. It sound simple until you find out those hidden secrets about a person, lol. But we have to practice love. We have to do love. Because that's what our God is. And we can't have hate in our hearts concerning people and say we belong to God. So if important to seriously forgive people and learn to love them. It dont mean be gullible of course.

Verse 8 If you haven't concerned loving, then you dont belong to God. When you get close to God the first thing he teaches is how to love. Not just the people you like or get alone with. But people who have seriously hurt you in the past you're able to love them and seek God on their behalf.

Verse 9 I just love this. God allowed us to see his love. Which lets us know that love is not words but it is actions. Our action show how much we love or dont love people.

Verse 10 And God showed us his love without us showing him love. So we have to love people who dont love us. If God saved us by loving us before we even thought to desire him. Let alone love him. If God made a way for us to experience his love while we were yet enjoying our sins. Then we have to be willing to love people in the same way. Because our loving them with Godly love may just draw them closer to God.
