Anyone know how to overcome picking?
I have this horrible problem with picking my lips, I don’t remember the last time my lips didn’t have scabs and cracks. I do it when I’m bored, nervous, spacing out, driving, talking to people, honestly just constantly. I also pick my face and my back and bite my cuticles but it’s not as bad or as often as my lips.
They can heal fast and go back to normal and look beautiful but i have to be able to leave them alone which feels so impossible to me because I do it without even thinking. If I don’t pick them with my fingers I pick them by biting them.
I’m trying really hard to care about myself more and not only improve the way I look but the way I look at myself. I just want to matter to myself. Help!
