Period like cramps?

I’m 31 weeks today.  About an hour ago, I’ve been having period like cramps. It hurts like hell. I’ve also been leaking quite a lot today. Is this normal??

I thought contractions felt exactly like bad period cramps when i had my first baby. For sure get checked out!

Maybe prodromal labor , like pre labour it can happen upto a month before the big event, iv been having contractions that hurt but never establishes into full labor

Just asked my dr this. Yes it’s normal and there’s nothing you can do to help it. You’re body’s just getting ready for labor.

Not normal if you’re leaking fluid. Is it clear? You need to be checked immediately. Also period cramps are what my contractions started out as with my first and then got worse. Braxton Hicks just felt like tightening

Go get checked they can test for amniotic fluid. I'm having cramping too with Braxton hicks they put me on medicine to relax my muscles and im on bed rest im 33 weeks.
