Lost my confidence as I transitioned into a blonde
I found this to be the most suitable group to go and tell my blonde disaster story. I’m here seeking advice and tips and any useful feedback...
So here we go. Stand by ladies as I type my tragic hair story. 😢

So I had my hair a color black when I started this journey, yes I had used black dyes so I knew this journey would be a costly one. I found the best rating hair stylist in my area and booked myself an appointment last year (September 2018)
We seemed to be on the same page about keeping my hairs integrity and taking the process slow. We did the first booking and this is the before and after..

I loved it! She took care of my hair while keeping it nice, long and healthy. I was satisfied at this point. I paid 260$ this first time.
So January 2020 came and I was ready to go lighter for the new year. I booked her once again and she quoted me at the same price of 260$ I accepted and we went forward with it.
Needless to say on camera my hair look stunningly beautiful

But within 3 washes it started looking extremely coppery and extremely damaged.
I reached out to her, visited her place of work and up to this day could not get a hold
Of her.
I had to find a new hair stylist to tone my hair out. Which cost me an additional 200$ (from what I understood she charged for a brown balayage to go over the orange looking tones in my hair)
& also asked her for a trim and you guys this is where it gets bad... she completely chopped all my hair off

It even looks longer in the picture but my hair is the shortest I’ve ever had it in a long time.
Plus it’s still completely damaged and breaks off each and every time
I’m handling it.
I just wanted pretty blonde hair and I ended up with short, copper looking hair.
Now I’m investing all this money on products,
Olaplex,
Leave in conditioners, eveything.
I hate the color and I hate the cut and I hate the money I’m spending trying to revive my hair.
Ladies is this worth it!?? What would you do if you were me? Would you go back to one solid color and bring your hair back to life or ride it out and see what happens!
Please no negativity girls, I’ve already been through enough losing my hair that took me years to grow
