Don’t know what to do...

My significant other and I are going to try for a family soon, I’m 23 he’s 22. He’s the only one working for now until I’m recovered better from surgery. I told my mom that me and my significant other are trying for a family but she got all pissed off with me about it telling me I’m not ready for a child I’m not responsible enough for one blah blah. I dunno what to do.. i feel like me and my significant other are stable for one he’s working I’ll be working soon he’s looking for a second job we’re never late on bills etc just ugh😔
