I married my best friend

My husband and I met in 2003. Grade 9. We’ve been best friends ever since and I could write a novel about how he’s the reason I made it out of high school alive. We started dating in 2017, engaged in 2018 and married August 2019.

My daughter (8) is from a previous relationship & he treats her as his own. I’m so blessed.

Right after I met him I used to go home & write in my journal about him ... for years. In 2003/2004 I wrote that he was my soul mate & that we would get married one day. Well that “one day” was the best day of my life. August 17, 2019.
