Iron transfusion- anyone had one?

My iron is very low so doc has sent me for an iron transfusion. Wondering if anyone who has had one can tell me how soon afterwards they noticed a difference in energy ?

I had them once a week from 32-36 and they really seemed to help my energy level. I’ve always had anemia problems

I did. I felt a big difference 6-7 days later

I had 1 a week for 4 weeks. I never noticed any more energy. I had it week 28-32
