How much to feed baby?

My twins are 5.5 months old, and I’m starting to realize I may be under feeding them. They used to eat every 3 hours but now it seems they are always hungry after 1.5 - 2hours and we have only been feeding them 4oz(and one 5oz bottle in the morning). 
When I looked online it says by their age they should be eating 6-8oz? Does that sound right? I feel terrible I didn’t realize my babies were still hungry, sooner.

Prob 5 to 6 oz and maybe a bigger bottle in the morn and at night to help sleep.   Just increase their feeding until they seem content.      Hey my advice is we are all learning.  We will make mistakes just do your best to resolve it once you realize what going on

I just would make a little more if my son still acted hungry when he was done with what I made him. If he consistently wanted more then I just started making that many oz. my son never matched up with any charts online

My 5 month old eats 5-7oz of breastmilk from bottles when I’m at work, and they say he’s hungry Again within 2 hours or so. When I feed him he goes 3 hours or so so I think he probably takes in more. I would say 6-8oz sounds right.

My 7 month old only eats 4.5-5 ounces every 3-3.5 hours. I try offering her more but she doesn’t want more. Sometimes she won’t even finish her 4.5 ounces. If they are hungry later try giving them more, but you’re not starving them, it’s a learning curve and the numbers you see online are just an average. Some eat more, some less. As long as babies are gaining weight and having enough wet diapers you aren’t starving them, and it’s an easy fix going forward.

You could try adding more to the bottle or just feed at the 1.5 hr mark. My dr always says to feed on demand. They could be in a growth spurt too.
